Lusajo D. Kusekwa
Homelab & Linux Engineer
Dodoma, Tanzania
I’m a self-taught technologist based in Dodoma, Tanzania. I run a complete self-hosted infrastructure from scratch: an always-on laptop homeserver on Ubuntu, 10+ Docker services, game servers, media streaming and Cloudflare-fronted DNS. Web services reach the internet through a Cloudflare Tunnel, and only a couple of ports are forwarded on my router.
This page documents each homelab project, what it is in plain terms, and what I learned building and fixing it.
Here are a few technologies I’ve been working with recently:
Experience
Homelab Engineer
Designed, built and maintain the whole stack from zero: an Ubuntu homeserver reached over Tailscale SSH, containers managed through Dockge, public access through Cloudflare Tunnel, and temperatures watched with sensors to keep old hardware alive. It all runs on a CPU-only i7-7500U, so I’ve learned to work within tight limits.
